This is rich flavored custard with vermicelli with fresh and dried fruits,fresh cream ,jelly, seet boondi and rasgullay can also be used (optional)..it tastes best when it is chilled make it at night before eid and kept in refrigerator and than serve on Eid day I this way it will taste perfect..

Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Eid special Lab e Shireen:

  1. 2 tbsp Desi ghee
  2. 3,4 green cardamom
  3. 1 pack coloured vermicelli
  4. 2 litre full fat milk
  5. Sugar per taste
  6. 4 tbsp Custard powder,3/4 cup of milk
  7. 100 g milk pack cream
  8. 2 chopped apples,
  9. 2 chopped bananas
  10. 1/2 cup chopped strawberry
  11. 1/2 cup fruit cocktail
  12. As required Rasgullay
  13. Coloured jelly of your choice
  14. As required Sweet boondi(optional)
  15. Chopped nuts

Instructions to make to make Eid special Lab e Shireen

  1. Add 2 tbsp of desi ghee in pan and let it melt
    Add 3,4 green cardamom in it..and cook it for few seconds.
  2. Add 1 pack of coloured vermicelli in it and stir fry it..
    Keep on stirring till its done. Turn of the flame and set it aside...
  3. Boil the milk(2litre) add custard mixture(slurry) to make it mix 4tbsp of custard powder into 3/4th cup of cold milk(can be used any flavour I have used mango flavour)
  4. Mix well so no lumps formed.
    Add fried vermicelli in it and keep on stirring
  5. Add sugar as per taste and mix well so sugar can dissolve, cook till it thickens or desired consistency..
  6. Add chopped nuts and flame should be low at this point.. cook till its done turn off the flame..and let it cool down
  7. Take 100 g of milkpack cream and add chopped apples,cocktail and strawberries in it..
  8. Also add bananas and mix well(you can add any seasonal fruit of your choice)
  9. Add creamy fruit mix in a bowl and than
    Add prepared custard vermicelli..
    1st layer creamy fruit mix
    2nd layer custard vermicelli
    3rd sweet boondi,rasgullay and jelly..
  10. Add sweet boondi,rasgullay and jelly on top..
  11. Lab e shireen is ready to serve
